Annapurna Super Computer! One more high performance cluster The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) on Friday added yet another feather to its cap with the inauguration of its latest supercomputer cluster, “
Annapurna ,” at the Institute of Mathematical Science (IMSc) in Chennai.
This is comes to the top ten list India’s fastest high-performance computation cluster.
At an event at the institute, Annapurna was unveiled by Dr. Srikuma Banerjee -Chairman DAE.
Specifications:
* 1024 cores – Intel Nehalem 2.93 GHz chips
* 1.5 tera byte memory
* 30 TB storage
